UNiPERSO personalization software

While creating software, a great emphasis has been put on card personalization process control. Access to UniPerso is possible using login and password assigned to the users by the administrator. Any information relevant to personalization such as personalization date and time, person who carried out personalization actions, information on card personalizing correctness or possible personalization error is recorded in the database. The software is compatible with Evolis and Datacard card printers.

In order to make use of its magnetic or electronic personalization capability, the printer must be equipped with a relevant encoding module. UniPerso enables data import from an external file. Additionally, having relevant cooperating software, it is possible to use an external database.

Software basic features:

• Supporting contactless (Mifare® standard) electronic card encoders as well as contact electronic and magnetic card ones
• Card graphics editor – enables designing, managing and printing graphics and text data on the cards
• Internal data editor – enables data recording in the card electronic systems and magnetic stripe encoding
• Database – data for personalization browsing, modifying and adding
• Defining sets for personalization, ie. templates containing information on graphic and text elements arrangement on the card as well as information on the method of data recording in the electronic systems and on the magnetic stripe
• Availability to import data from the text files
• Granting authorities and passwords for people personalizing cards
• Logging, personalization, card encoding reports, etc.
• Setting apart a pool of numbers of personalized cards for indicated people operating the programme
• Supporting Evolis and Datacard® card printers

The system may generate the following reports:

System logging-in report
Report on cards set apart for the indicated users
Report on cards encoded correctly
Report on non-personalized cards (damaged or faulty)

As standard, access to the programme options is restricted by the granted authority:

Administrator – administrator status enables access to all programme options

Personalization provider – person granted this status is authorized to carry out any actions enabling typical printer work with the UniPerso programme, ie.: changing programme configuration (for example, printer selection), browsing data and sets (templates), editing graphics data, personalizing cards and error reporting

Quality & assurance – has similar authority as personalization provider but additionally manages the quality control process

Administrator may add and block particular authority for each of the groups, and create new groups with freely chosen authorities.
